Financial specialist

In this role you will be active in European headquarter activities in Amsterdam, with active contact with Chinese Headquarter and European subsidiaries. The rapid development that the company is experiencing creates a beautiful set of opportunities and challenges. You will work closely with European Financial Manager. You are responsible for the following tasks:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conducting the daily bookkeeping in accordance with the Dutch GAAP

2. Contacting the local accounting firms or local financial team for Europe subsidiaries to ensure financial work in compliance.

3. Liaising with European subsidiaries and intercompany transactions between the underlying entities.

4. Assisting financial manager for daily financial management functions

Job requirements:

1. A completed Bachelor degree in Accounting/Financial/economics direction;

2. Above 2 years of relevant work experience within Accounting;

3. Familiar with Exact Online financial software is an advantage;

4. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English.

General Ledger Accountant

In this role you will be active in European headquarter activities in Amsterdam, with active contact with Chinese Headquarter and European subsidiaries. The rapid development that the company is experiencing creates a beautiful set of opportunities and challenges. You will work closely with European Financial Manager. As GL Accountant you will be part of a dynamic and growing team responsible for the financial accounting and reporting for certain legal entities. You are responsible for the following tasks:

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the timely preparation of Dutch GAAP and the financial statements of the assigned legal entities.

2. Responsible for the monthly closing process.

3. Control and maintain quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and balance sheet reviews with management reports

4. Drive efficiencies and process improvements, ensuring compliance with company policy & procedures, local and IFRS requirements

5. Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards

6. Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.

Qualifications/skills and knowledge:

1. To be successful in this role, we expect the candidate to bring the following skills and experience:

2. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

3. At least five years' experience in general ledger accounting, or similar.

4. Excellent working knowledge of Dutch GAAP and indepth experience on compliance and accounting requirements across multi EMEA jurisdictions.

5. Experience with local GAAP and IFRS is considered a plus

6. Proficiency with Exact、SAP preferred and Microsoft Office with solid Excel skills

7. Ability to meet tight deadlines, handle a demanding and fluctuating workload and at the same time provide accurate and reliable data.

8. Fluent in Dutch and Chinese is a plus.
