刚刚，荷兰卫生部门RIVM公布最新数据，荷兰新增感染人数77例，累计达到265人，累计死亡3人。

分布情况：

据悉，新增的两个死亡病例，分别是来自Uden的86岁男性和来自Sittard的82岁男性。

最新的确诊患者的数据信息表明，目前累计确诊的265人中有144人刚从国外返回荷兰，其中133人从意大利北部返回；另外有74人是因为跟此前确诊患者有接触而被感染；剩余47人的感染源未知（包括今日新增的两名死亡病例），GGD仍在调查。

RIVM透露，确诊患者中大部分都在家隔离治疗，有36名患者入院隔离治疗。

Hi all,
I have read the advice from American field experts and the virus-fighting experiences from China. Here is what I found the most important.

There are three ways to get infected:
1. to be sneezed upon or coughed at by an infected individual, the virus-carrying droplets reach peoples' eyes, or nose, or mouth

2. the very small virus-carrying droplets can stay in the air for up to 10min. In a crowded place or a space not well ventilated, people may breath such droplets in

3. the heavier virus-carrying droplets fall on surfaces. The virus on them may persist for up to 9 days, with an average of around 7 days. People may touch such a surface and droplets and then touch their face

Note that infected people who do not show symptoms may produce such droplets too.

Way #1 calls for masks or not going out much. Given the shortage of masks for professionals, we should go out less

Way #2 is helped by not going to crowded places or to closed spaces, and by a lot of ventilation

Way #3 is helped by washing hands and by not touching various door handles, railings, buttons, shopping carts and baskets, gas station pumps, and condiments in eateries, etc. One can also wipe them with alcohol-containing sanitizers to disinfect, or wear latex gloves.

Wash hands with soap and water thoroughly to disinfect. If no water is available and the hand is not too dirty, hand sanitizer can be used. A hand sanitizer must contain 60% or more alcohol, and is only effective if it is completely dry after applied.

One can make own hand sanitizer by combining two units of 90+% alcohol with one unit of aloe vera gel.
